Welcome to the New TQFT Knot Explorer

We are pleased to introduce the new TQFT Knot Explorer, featuring a redesigned interface and a range of new tools for exploring knots, invariants, and their connections to quantum theory.

The new version brings together several new capabilities, including fat-diagram (FD) representations of knots, with particular emphasis on arborescent knots; colored HOMFLY-PT invariants; and new FD classifications and visualization tools. We have also expanded the explorer toward applications in topological quantum field theory and related areas of mathematical physics.

Our goal is to provide a more interactive and visual environment for studying the rich structures of knot theory and their connections to modern mathematics and physics.

We hope you enjoy exploring the new TQFT Knot Explorer.

The team

The foundational ideas behind the TQFT Knot Explorer were proposed by Hisham Sati and Vivek Kumar Singh. Soon afterward, Amena joined the project and played a key role in developing the website, implementing many of its core and popular features, and helping shape the TQFT Knot Explorer into its present form.

CQTS

TQFT Knot Explorer is partially supported by the Center for Quantum and Topological Systems (CQTS), NYU Abu Dhabi.
